Product 02 · Active build
Plan the pay period, not just the past.
An AI-assisted personal finance product that shifts attention from retrospective expense tracking toward practical pay-period decisions.
Web / iOS / Android
The origin
Payday grew from wanting a clearer answer to a common, concrete question: what can I safely do with the money available between now and the next pay date?
Principle“Personal finance software should lower anxiety by turning transactions into understandable decisions, while keeping the user—not automation—in control.”
The response
Payday organizes money around pay periods, recurring obligations, categories, and planned allocations. AI is intended to assist with categorization and explanation, not make opaque financial decisions.
Product shape
Frames budgets around the actual interval in which spending decisions happen.
Turns raw activity into categories and explanations that are easier to review.
Connects obligations and goals to the money available before the next payday.
Supports classification and interpretation while preserving user review.
Interactive product stage
The production PaydayAI web application is available through an explicit, sandboxed launch with a persistent direct-launch fallback. Authentication is handled entirely by PaydayAI.
Test and deployment evidence
Product-level release evidence is kept separate from the portfolio integration checks performed in this repository.

TypeScript keeps domain assumptions explicit across the React Native application.
Financial guidance is presented with context and confirmation instead of false certainty.
Evolution
Started with the gap between a bank balance and a usable spending plan.
Organized the experience around income cycles and obligations.
Added AI where it can reduce manual categorization and improve clarity.
